Partial and Complete Dentures

DenturesDr. Talluri and the Exquisite Dentistry staff are removable prosthetic devices that are used to replace missing teeth and surrounding tissues. They can be used to replace all the teeth in the upper or lower jaw (complete dentures) or only a few missing teeth (partial dentures).

The process of getting dentures typically involves a couple appointments to take impressions of your mouth, make models of your teeth, and create the final dentures. Dr. Talluri will also work with you to select the size, shape, and color of your denture teeth to ensure a natural-looking and comfortable fit.

After the dentures are placed, you may experience some discomfort or difficulty speaking and eating, but these issues typically resolve with time and practice. It’s important to follow Dr. Talluri’s instructions for cleaning and caring for your dentures to maintain their function and appearance.

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap or cover that is placed over a damaged or decayed tooth. It’s used to restore the shape, size, strength, and appearance of the tooth. Crowns can be made from different materials such as porcelain, metal, or a combination of both. They are custom-made to fit your tooth and are cemented in place by Dr. Talluri. Dental crowns can also be used to cover a tooth that has undergone root canal treatment, to protect a weak tooth from further damage, or to attach a dental bridge.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge can be a solution for replacing one or multiple missing teeth that are adjacent. Using a crown on each end as an anchor, an artificial tooth or teeth are placed in between to fill in the gap. A bridge is fixed, which means that we permanently place it, and it is not removable.

At Exquisite Dentistry, we typically use porcelain to create dental bridges that are seamless and complement your smile.

Whether you need a tooth crown or dental bridge to restore your smile, the process to complete your restoration is nearly the same. It will require two visits with Dr. Talluri and a couple of weeks to complete.

During your first appointment, Dr. Talluri gets your tooth ready for your new restoration, takes impressions of your teeth for the dental lab, and creates a temporary restoration for you to wear until we complete your final one.

A trusted dental lab will handcraft your restoration, which typically takes one to two weeks. When it’s ready, you’ll return to our dental office to have it permanently placed and adjusted to fit your bite correctly. Now you can enjoy all the benefits of eating and smile with your newly restored teeth!

Tooth-Colored Dental Fillings

Gone are the days of having an unsightly metal filling diminish your smile! Modern dentistry has made great strides in creating durable and aesthetically-pleasing composite resin fillings to repair cavities and complement your smile. We can even use composite for a procedure called bonding that can cover and improve small cosmetic concerns.

Dental Bonding

Dr. Talluri working on a patient's smileDental bonding is a conservative way to restore chipped, crooked, or discolored teeth. This procedure utilizes a white filling “bonded” to your tooth in order to help improve the aesthetics. Because the white filling material comes in a variety of different shades, we will closely match it to your other teeth in order to give you a natural, beautiful smile.

Dental bonding is a procedure that can eliminate tooth damage and cosmetic imperfections, such as:

  • Small fractures and chipping
  • Irregularly shaped teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Stains or discoloration

If there are some cosmetic changes you’d like to make to the appearance of your teeth, bonding is a non-invasive and affordable procedure that can significantly enhance your smile. Dr. Talluri would love to talk with you about your options for achieving your best smile!
