You will experience mild redness following your Lutronic Ultra treatment and you will be able to resume normal activities immediately. Full healing may take 5 to 7 days but makeup may be applied sooner upon our direction.
Discomfort during Ultra treatments is variable. Most patients describe the sensation as “mild to moderate” discomfort. We may elect to apply a topical numbing cream to minimize discomfort.
Treatments range from 5 to 20 minutes, depending upon the area being treated. Some Ultra treatments are so quick that patients refer to it as a Lunchtime Facial!
Depending upon your expectations, you may see results after a single treatment while other skin conditions could require several visits. We will discuss what you can expect based on your individual situation.

You will feel some pressure and heat. The treatment is typically tolerated with topical anesthetics. We will work with you to find and improve your comfort level.
Depending on the area treated, it can take as little as 15 minutes and up to an hour. There is an initial pinkness and swelling which typically subsides after 24-36 hours. It may take up to a week for this to completely resolve.
Results may vary, but you should see some changes soon after the procedure. As your body rebuilds collagen, gradual improvements occur over the next six months.
We will discuss your goals with you, which will determine the length and number of treatments. Dramatic results may require multiple treatments. Typically 2-3 treatments give optimal results.
